Abstract Photography

Tree

I used lines by looking upwards towards the tree and the branches. I also used pattern and repetition by showing the repeating branches and the lines they create. I used fill the frame by making sure the branches take up the photo and the frame.

The rope

I used texture by zooming in and focusing on the rough texture of the rope. I also used pattern by showing all the lines of the rope repeating. I used diagonals by showing the individual threads and taking it at a angle where its diagonal.

Slated almond

I used lines by showing the lines moving up and down through the photo that adds interest. I also used pattern and repetition by zooming in and showing the many lines.

I used fill the frame by making sure there is nothing else to look at and zooming in close.

Tree stump

I used texture by going close up and looking at all the individual things in the photo. I also used emphasis by showing that there is one thing to focus on and its blurry around the subject. I used simplify the scene by showing there is no subject and nothing is to distracting.

Blue jay

I used colour by making taking it at a angle where it shows different colours of the bird. I also used emphasis by making sure the bird is the main subject and only focus point. I used breaking the rules because I did not use one single rule instead I created a unique photo.
