Fidget Spinner- 1/40

for this photo I used balance by having the photo all centered in the middle of the frame and the background and it all equal.

I also used color by having the fidget spinner popping with blue and green and the hand is in focus creating a color pop.

Basketball- 1/500

In this photo I used space by having the frame in the middle and there is a lot of free space in the background to show all the little parts in the photo.

I also used Movement and rhythm by showing how the basketball is moving in motion and showing the action of the photo.

One hand on the wheel- 1/40

I also used movement and rhythm because i showed that the car is moving in action and that the background is blurry making the picture of the car pop out of the background in focus.

I also use color by taking a photo of a car with a big pop of blue that goes well with the white and the background.

In this photo I used value again by going under the hoop and taking a photo from the ground up and showing how the sky is lighter than the subject like the ball and the hoop.

Then I used pattern and repetition with the netting on the hoop showing how its going verticle until the bottom

Whippin- 1/50

In this photo I used Movement and rhythm by showing how the background gets blurred out when your subject is the main focus in the frame.

I also used lines by having the yellow lead the image through the frame and it leads your focus to it creating a cool image.

Fast Car- 1/40

in this photo i used space because there is negative space around the subject.

I also used Emphasis because the car is dark black and there is only one focus point.

Ryder is slow- 1/40

I used pattern and repetition with all the windows in the background to make a interesting focus point.

I used lines through the building to create an interesting background. I used emphasis because I have taken it where Ryder is the only thing in focus.

Rainbow Umbrella- 1/15

I used colour because the subject is full of different colours making it interesting.

I used Emphasis because there is only one thing to focus on and the background is vey simple making the umbrella pop out.

Panning questions:

1. Trying to get a photo where the moving subject is in focus but everything else is not.

2. Panning works best when you are moving at the same speed as the subject and when you have the perfect shutter speed.

3. you do panning by moving the camera with your body at the same speed and direction as the subject.

4. you need to be very patient and be very positive because it can take a lot of tries to get the perfect one.
